LEAD TESTING & SITE SURVEY DIVISION
The Department of Health estimates 1.2 million homes in Washington have lead based paint. Our goal is to help customers identify these issues and provide common sense recommendations to protect their families.
Our inspectors come prepared to not only perform a wide variety of tests, they also bring a deep knowledge of indoor environmental hazards. This experience allows you to avoid the costly mistake of paying for lab testing you don’t need.

XRF Analyzer Gun. Our most popular inspection, this uses nondestructive XFR technology to identify the lead content of building materials. Results are provided instantly and no removal of paint is required.
